My daughter wanted a light canvas backpack. It looks great, and she loves it. Not sure how it will be after the wash. I will update my review should anything change.Dislike on this bag is no sides pickets for bottle or cup.The fabric is really too soft for a good back pack, a smaller sized laptop fits it, there is no pocket for a bottle and the inside doesn't have a firm area to hold the computer. It's really too big for a purse type of use. We really like the sholder straps. Underneath it does have firm support for heavy items like a computer. The fabric feels like a rain coat the Underneath part feels like some kind of man made suede.Bought it fir my grandson who is in HS, liked it a lotLove that it has a gold metal zipper. The bottom has a thick pleather. Was expecting a different material for the bag but it is pretty ans serves it purpose.This amazing invention is absolutely astonishing. To think someone (not me) came up with the idea to put zippers on a bag then straps to carry on your back!! Genius I tell ya. Wish I would have thought of it, then I’d be richer than Jeff Bezos!Pretty as pictured but disappointed that at this price it's made of ultra thin material that has no structure to support it in holding itself up and open for ease of putting stuff in it at all. As flimsy as a t shirt.I wanted to wait until half the school year was over to write a review to see if it's going strong, and it is. This backpack has survived 1/2 year of middle school!! My daughter usually goes through 2 backpacks a school year. This one may survive three whole year. Showing very little signs of wear and tear. Even through 2 washings, (because it's a light color and can look dirty), it's still good.Not reliable. Not recommended.After 2 months of use the back handle and the zipper broke.Customer support not very helpful and seems like they cannot comprehend emails and reply with something totally unrelated.Now I have to pay 2 way shipping to California from Canada so they can evaluate if it can be repaired.I want this replaced or I want my money back!First time purchased a Jansport and they way it looks right now it will be the last.Linda, perfeita. El único pero que le pongo es que es un color algo claro y se ensuciará rápido.Daughter loves it, she crams all her school books and gear into it and it holds it well and the straps are still comfortable without any complaints. The separatie outer pocket is large and holds all her extras: pens, tissues, etc. The style, functionality, and price is just right!
