I genuinely like this backpack. It has all the basic features you'd like to find in a budget pack.I wouldn't want to use it for more than a few days at a time - it lacks the comfort you'd expect from a much more expensive model. The shoulder straps are sewn in at fixed points at the top (and they're likely tear if the bag is overloaded/over-weighted). There are adjustment straps, but the waist-belt level winds up being fairly fixed (and it's not as well-padded as it could be), so this pack may lack comfort adjustments for some body-types. Additionally, they weren't particularly generous with extra belt/strapping material. I'm a fairly average size and weight for an adult male, and the sternum strap was (barely) adequate. The waist belt was ample, but even the top and bottom gear straps were... lacking in length. Just something to consider.That being said - I really liked the zippered compartment for the detachable rainfly, the sternum strap has the little safety whistle, there's a nice zippered hidden security pocket in the top compartment, and there's a pocket and port to accommodate a hydration bladder. These are nice features in a budget pack. The bag weighs 3 lbs, 9 ozs (last photo), and it's fairly trim and streamlined. It rides a bit high, which could make it top-heavy unless you balance the load correctly.Two photos show the bag in comparison to a Teton Scout 3400 - a 55L bag. This one is a bit larger, but no way is it 75L. I'm guessing closer to 62 or 63L. It doesn't matter too much - over-weighting it will be your biggest concern. A budget bag like this isn't designed for regular use - it's a perfect investment for someone who wants to join a group of hikers a few times a year. In that very honest context - this is an excellent bag! If you need something for more regular/rugged use you're going to be spending much, much more.
