Was worried may be a bit small, but works well as a secure day bag - hold passports, and small personal items (iPad, phone, ear buds, glasses, wallet, book, shirt, hat, water bottle etc) during tourist activities in Europe. Not super quick or easy to open to access items when using security latches, but then that is part of the point of this bag. . It rides higher on back than larger packs I use. I thought bag was going to be awkwardly small or tight to wear, but was actually comfortable once lengthened the straps. (I'm 5'11, 200 lbs). I also like the detachable strap that can loop around seat or furniture to prevent quick grab. It's a nice anti theft bag. But the size is something that looks good on paper (or the monitor for that matter), but in actuality might disappoint some folks. I own a few pacsafe bags but this one was kind of a let down size wise.Security features are better than most bags out there which claim to be "anti theft", but don't get too complacent as it is merely a deterrent to make it a little more difficult to open for thieves.Overall, the bag is pretty good but it would be best to probably see it yourself before buying.I have had and loved my Pacsafe sling. I have had it for over 5 years. As I was only carrying my iPad mini, the sling was great. I have travelled extensively with it and used it daily. It was great and met all of my needs. While I will review the daypack below, I should add that one of the mesh wires on my sling "broke" and popped out on the sash part of the sling. This happened about year 4 or so. I fixed it with ducktape and it was fine. I recently learned that Pacsafe has a 5 year warranty on workmanship which I would have used had I known about it. As the company makes good products, my guess is that it would have honored its guarantee. I gave the sling to my son who used it on his trip to China so it is still very useful with broken wire and tape fix. If this happens with my daypack, I will "return" it to Pacsafe.Let me talk about the daypack.Recently, I purchased a laptop that I will travel with so my sling is now too small. As I like the security of Pacsafe products, I upgraded to the daypack. During a recent trip to Hi, I carried my 13 inch laptop, my mini iPad, all of my charging cords, a book to read on the plane, my stainless steel water bottle, a light jacket, and some other miscellaneous stuff in the daypack with no problem. The pack weighed 10 pounds. I mention the weight because the sling, when "full" would fatigue my shoulder somewhat requiring me to switch shoulders. With both straps in place on the daypack, the weight was not a problem. When I use it on a daily basis, it has much more room than I need. I thought this might be a problem when I considered buying it, but after using it, I have easily adapted to it. It is not too big for daily use. Also, because there are two straps, I can easily use it on either shoulder separately if I choose.Overall, I highly recommend the daypack to you if you need the extra space. I use the mesh pocket with the zipper to hold my receipts and the RFID for my credit cards. The computer pocket holds my iPad which gets "lost" in the pocket and the other big pocket holds all my miscellaneous stuff. The security features are all there when you need them and inconspicuous when you don't.Backpack worked well as a carryon bag. Sturdy and lightweight. Security features worked well.I spent hours over the course of a few weeks looking for a new bag. My REI dumpster find was finally wearing out, and it was too bulky and heavy to commute with any longer. I also had a big trip coming up and wanted a smaller replacement, but one that was durable and would last me for years. Here's my profile: 5'2", commutes up to 3 hours a day on public transit/walking, travels by airplane occasionally. What I get out of this bag:1. It doesn't make me look like a first grader on the first day of school; i.e., it fits my small frame well and isn't oversized.2. Because of its smaller size, it doesn't hurt my back. The weight is distributed very well and doesn't pull my shoulders like other bags do. It doesn't contain a waist strap, but it doesn't need to.3. Adequate space. For a commute it is perfect. It holds a 1L Nalgene in one side pocket and my coffee Thermos in the other. Inside I can hold a 13"-15" laptop, a book, a notebook, a small lunch bag, a sweater, and several odds and ends that can be accessed conveniently. I used it as my carry-on on the airplane and it fit nicely under the seat, thereby increasing its convenience over my last bag.4. Confidence in its quality and safety. This thing is well-made. It's nondescript, and if I'm wearing a black jacket, people probably won't even notice I am wearing it. Good for not looking like a dorky tourist or prey for bagnabbers. You can buy locks for the zippers, but I don't find them necessary due to the clipping function; it takes a while to unclip and therefore acts as a deterrent in itself for anyone behind you on the bus/metro interested in getting inside. If you are planning on a long hike/camping trip or hauling multiple textbooks, this is probably not the bag for you. They do have a 25L version of this bag available if you need more space, but for me, this size was perfect. I'm very glad I chose this bag, and I plan on using it for its lifetime.I bought this as I went to Morocco to protect me with some haggler or pick pockets ,it was small but light to put your passport ,iPad ,toiletries ,bottles on both side and done discreet pockets for my money ,it was so useful and really recommend this for travelling to protect your mobile ,iPad ,keys ,passports ,pen ,travel documents, money etc .Will definitely recommend it to anyone .Small, stylish and full of safety features. Plenty of room for a day out. Lots of security features. Don't like the straps, they are difficult to alter, you have to take the pack off to do it. Most modern packs have easy to adjust strapsI cant believe I paid this much for a backpack, however I needed a small secure bag to take on holiday while walking through busy crowds. Once I had worked out what to put where, I felt very relieved knowing that my credit cards were shielded and that my camera and phone were secured with the zip locks. The bag was light and comfortable to wear. It had handy water bottle pockets which was handy because of the unusually high temperatures. All in all I was very impressed with my purchaseThis bag is very comfortable and has many good little pockets in it and with the added safety features is an absolute bargain. You will be amazed how much you can get in here. I would recommend to anyone.Well designed bag. Very happy with it on a three day trip abroad, but whilst travelling noticed that the turn and lock buckle would not lock, so had to send back and will buy another.
