I bought these for attaching trekking poles vertically to MOLLE loops on the side of the LA Police Gear ATLAS 12 backpack. As you can see from the photos, they do their job well. They clearly weren't designed for this, as it gives the straps kind of a diagonal twist, and it's far from quick for the attaching/detaching of the poles, but as far as I can tell it's the only product that will do the job. There are some other sweet MOLLE clips for attaching cylindrical gear like poles and flashlights, but they all want horizontal attachment. The flexibility of these straps allows you to use them for both horizontal and vertical mounts.Use these to adjust a tactical load bearing vest for my job and these worked great by attaching to molle and then attaching to a belt keeper on my duty belt.Do yourself a favor an purchase these straps. They are so useful in so many ways. Five thumbs up!!!!!??Just what I expected and arrived quickly.These clips are inexpensive, and they perform as promised.
